He really put back screaming 10 years. By able to do live what he did on the album, over and over again, he ruined it for everyone else.

Chris Adler was and still is on a level that imo only a handful of drummers have achieved in terms of flair, gusto and absolute effortlessness. Danny Carey, Neil Peart and Gene Hoglan come to mind as drummers in that category.
